PASTURE, RANGELAND, FOREAGE

The Pasture, Rangeland and Forage {PRF} Insurance Program is designed to provide insurance coverage on your perennial pasture, rangeland or forage acres. The program is designed to give you the ability to purchase insurance protection for losses of forage produced for grazing or harvested for hay. These unexpected costs result in increased costs for feed, restocking, depopulating, and other potential outcomes.

LIVESTOCK RISK PROTECTION

Livestock Risk Protection (LRP) is a federally subsidized risk-management program designed to insure against a decline In livestock market prices. LRP allows producers to insure against decrease in future market prices while enabling producers to benefit from potential market rallies. LRP functions as a pricing floor for specific classes of livestock.
